Trade show display unit

Shown in white powder coated domestic A36 steel, with naturally finished and sustainably-produced bamboo plywood. This living room unit has two sliding-door cabinets, one lectern-shelf and two matching stools. This unit is finished in a lighter “teak” stain.

This trade show unit features several cold-fasten elements that allow it to break down significantly for shipping and storage. It also has an integrated LED light “moon”, a matching stool, a soft close drawer with a writing-desk insert, sliding doors, and a soft-close hinged door.

This was fabricated especially to showcase some of the possibilities and options for custom shelving units, as well as to store other trade show items and to act as a point of sale station to bag up and charge for smaller pieces.

Bamboo plywood is a renewable and impressively durable material that is significantly stronger across a span than normal plywood making it an ideal material for this application. The beautiful grain gives it life and color. Instead of a plywood edge, which is an eyesore, bamboo plywood has an attractive cell structure, providing a feature where otherwise would be a blemish.
