Folding Stools

Domestic A10 cold rolled steel, oxidized domestic spalted maple

These lovely stools don’t need to sacrifice practicality to provide elegance. The legs are made of cold rolled hexagonal stock and the cross members are cold rolled square stock. A10 cold rolled steel has incredibly clean corners and measures within 0.002” of it’s intended dimension. After the legs fold together, the top hinges down leaving a hang-able, storable, flat piece. The folding mechanism is almost totally hidden within the form leaving the cleanest of lines.
